Ceramic Cookwear Review Green Pan, Cosmic, Krumble and Neoflam

Cosmic, Greenpan, Crumble & Neoflam Review:

🍳Cosmic Cookware has the Swiss ILAG Certified Coating. This is probably the best I have seen in the enamelled cast iron range. The coating Xerogel/ Xeradur which also has the European certification knife and fork LFGB. It consists of 7 layers and Two inner coatings of ILAG certified ceramic. Lead and cadmium testing reports easily available to download on their website.

🍳Greenpan- For me, Greenpan has undergone some legal concerns in the US for falsifying their non toxic claims. That is enough for me to lose trust in the brand. The law suit can be easily Googled. They use Thermalon coating. Thermolon™has been certified by third party testing labs as conforming to international regular food contact standards. As of December 2021, they no longer disclose their test reports. Thermalon is made by a Sol Gel- in Information about this gel it says, the article of cookware can further be provided on a food-contacting surface with an anti-adherent coating such (PTFE)-based coating. I Would Avoid Thermolon-Coated Cookware Because Not All The Ingredients Of This Coating Are Disclosed. They claim to be PFOA, PTFE and PFAS free.

🍳Crumble Cook-
Certifications via SGS for: FDA and CAL65 certifying it safe of harmful chemicals, cadmium & lead free. The cookware is coated with 2 to 3 layers of premium enamel coating made by Tomatec. (Japanese Company) Testing is not freely available on their website. Tomatec complies with all safety for lead standards for cookwear. The products have passed the leachable lead and cadmium standards. This brand doesn’t have as many certifications as Cosmic for example.

🍳Neoflam- EcolonTM Natural Non stick is a ceramic-based coating that is mostly made of natural elements such as stone and sand. I cannot find any mention of certifications or testing reports on their website. EcoLon (ecologically-friendly nylon) is a ceramic-glass reinforced Nylon 6 (Perlon) coating, commonly used in cookware. Nylon 6 is classed as a As a synthetic fibre.

In order of preference IF I had to make a choice:
1. Cosmic
2. Crumble
3. Neoflam
4. Greenpan
